I slept well in the tent, but when I eventually woke up, I could hear the others already packing up their tents. One guy said to me that rain is expected around 9am. So, I hastily did the same and managed to get the tent packed up and all luggage back on the bike 10 minutes before the rain started.
Due to the wet weather, and that several of the group didn’t get a good night’s sleep, it was decided to just head to Vic and have a lazy day there until the weather improved.
We stopped at a fuel station, then went to a nearby shopping centre where we went to a cafe for a hot drink and something to eat. After nearly two hours of taking up their seats, we moved another few hundred metres to a larger food place for lunch!
It was then decided that as it was so close and easy to find, that we could all make our own way to the accommodation. One group member said, keep following the main road, and the guesthouse is in between the small and large waterfalls. That sounded pretty easy and off I went.
I am sure you have already guessed, but even those simple instructions didn’t go well for me. It wouldn’t have been so bad, but I had another group bike in front of me. He turned off at what I thought was the first waterfall, and so I went straight on looking for the second one, which after several kilometres, failed to show itself, so I stopped to look up the guest house and ask Google for directions. It of course asked me to turn around and go back to where the other chap turned off.
I stopped and took a photo or two of the waterfalls, then followed Googles directions to the guest house that was not far away. I never did find another waterfall !!
One of the group who’s stayed s little longer at the campsite said, where our tents were, was now an inch of water, so glad we was not spending another night there.
