Day 25

Feeling a bit fatigued this morning despite a comfortable night's sleep in the hotel. I guess it is partly from the strenuous ride yesterday, and partly due to me having the onset of a cold which has been circulating in the group for the past few days.

One of the gravel roads today took us over the top of a mountain which provided a few excellent photo stops, as well as great general views.

Come lunch time, we had the choice of going straight to the hotel, doing a scenic ride to the hotel, or go out in search of more gravel roads.

As much as I wanted to do the gravel roads, I opted for the scenic route to the hotel which Nick led four of us on. Even that I found hard, and in hindsight, I should have gone straight there as I struggled to keep awake!

Once at the hotel, I got showered and went straight to bed as I just couldn’t keep my eyes open for a second longer.
