My first night in a ‘pod’ was OK, but the mattress had a dodgy spring which made it a little uncomfortable. Smell of fresh pine wood was quite nice though!

So, today’s ride involved another bridge from my pre-trip research. This time it was the ‘Bridge Between Continents’, which is a bridge spanning the continental divide Europe and North America on Reykjanes Peninsula.

After that I made just a couple more stops.

The first was at a lava rock pool, called Brimketill.

The next stop was at another crater. Stampar Crater was much smaller than the one a couple of day’s ago!

Then it was back to Reykjavik to find the hostel that I will be staying in for the next four nights and meeting the others over the coming days.

Not sure how the blog update’s will go from here on when we start riding as a group, but keep an eye out, I will update the blog whenever I can.
